BronzeWing is a Lockheed Martin sovereign evolutionary development framework providing core services via an open architecture suite of capabilities informed by demonstrator and prototype foundations. Responding to the Technical Lead, you will undertake activities to identify, analyse, select and apply concepts, technologies and techniques that are applicable to the technical development of software products.
Your responsibilities will include:
In this role, you will:
* Supporting the Staff Software Engineer and Software Architect through design, development and test of critical parts of the BronzeWing architecture.
* Work alongside our teaming companies and assist in solution integration of 3rd party software
* Work within projects that utilise the BronzeWing framework to ensure that the project goals are met whilst maintaining configuration with the BronzeWing baseline.
* Support the agile development of complex technical solutions proposed by yourself and team Subject Matter Experts
* Analyse software requirements, design and test rationale
* Perform the resolution of problems identified during the conduct of software development, integration and test of your products
* Support planning and conducting usability studies to evaluate UI/ UX designs
* Contribute to work within projects that utilise the BronzeWing framework to ensure configuration with the BronzeWing baseline and meet wider Lockheed Martin Program objectives.
About you:
* Strong experience in software engineering methodologies and techniques in a web-based development domain
* Excellent ability to apply experiential judgement and lateral approaches to complex problem solving
* Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, SCSS and web development toolsets
* Experience in layout design, wireframing, typography and photo editing to create compelling digital assets
* Experience in designing web and mobile solutions.
* Agile software development experience (Desirable)
* Experience with Golang, Python, Rust (Desirable)
* Experience with Cloud Orchestration Platforms and containerisation stacks (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenStack) (Desirable)
* Experience with Gimp, Photoshop. (Desirable)
