Our Sales and Marketing team is looking for an enthusiastic, confident and proactive Technical Sales/ Key Account Manager - Industrial Chemicals to join our Kwinana-based team. The position The core responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Build effective customer relationships through customer engagement. Determine existing and potential customers' chemical needs. Develop a thorough understanding of a customer's business requirements and operational issues. Review customer prices, taking into consideration changes to cost of production. Establish sales proposals to new customers. Provide technical support to customers in relation to company products. Negotiate, draft, execute and manage customer supply contracts. Liaise with Coogee legal advisors in relation to customer supply contracts. Identify opportunities to achieve market penetration of existing products to existing and potential customers. Gather market data through customer interactions, EPCM, and industry events, and analysing the data to determine whether there is a strong business case for new business. The successful candidate We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has: A tertiary qualification in a relevant technical or commercial discipline. Minimum 3 years' experience in the industrial chemicals sector. Experience in the mining industry is desirable, however not essential. A basic understanding of chemistry. Ability to interface with customers. Ability to prepare sales proposals and contracts. Ability to solve problems. Ability to interpret financial accounts. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to act in a confidential manner where appropriate. Ability to work in a team.
