About the Role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. You will manage logistics, administration, and support with procurement of our fertiliser business along with other merchandise categories within the branch.
In addition, you will:
4. Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
5. Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
6. Assist and manage procurement of fertilizer
7. Processing counter sales
8. Maintaining safety processes
9. Assisting with merchandise campaign material
10. Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
11. Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
12. This role includes a rotating Saturday roster.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You’ll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:
13. Experience working within a sales environment
14. Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
15. A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
16. Excellent attention to detail
17. Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
18. Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes
19. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
20. A current driver’s license is essential. A forklift ticket is required and a MR or HR license is advantageous.
