As the Broker Distribution State General Manager (SGM) Mortgages you will be pivotal in delivering settlements, broker experience, and NPS targets by driving market activation, strategic sales leadership, and fostering a high performing, engaged team. Acting as the voice of the broker, the SGM collaborates with the Mortgages Line of Business and Mortgage Operations to influence policy, process, and technology changes, ensuring seamless implementation within the team. This includes managing Westpac and St. George broker businesses to achieve revenue and book growth targets across NSW/ACT. With a strong focus on relationship management, the SGM builds and nurtures key connections with brokers, aggregators, and internal stakeholders while resolving escalations and delivering superior customer service. Through strategic market activation and sales force effectiveness, the SGM ensures Westpac’s competitive advantage is leveraged to maximise opportunities, drive growth, and align broker activity with risk and return profiles.
