We are seeking a motivated APS 6 Corporate Support Officer to join our Federal Government client for a 3-month contract role. This is a full-time, office-based position, though part-time candidates will also be considered. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy managing multiple priorities, we want to hear from you As a Corporate Support Officer, you will provide essential administrative and operational support across a variety of corporate functions, ensuring the smooth running of our office and key services. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate facilities, finance, HR, procurement, security, and more. Key Responsibilities Oversee facilities maintenance and property compliance to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Provide general administrative support for finance, HR, and asset management processes. Coordinate new employee arrangements, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. Support the organisation of events and meetings, including calendar management, room setup, and catering. Manage office supplies, materials, and services to ensure daily operations run smoothly. Liaise with landlords and service providers for office management, access, and parking. Handle security processes, including office access pass activation. Provide IT support and maintenance in collaboration with technical teams. Oversee Work Health and Safety (WHS) compliance and emergency coordination (first aid and warden coverage). Manage procurement and liaise with suppliers in line with Commonwealth Procurement Rules. Oversee records management, mail, and freight distribution services.
