Job Description:
Key Objectives:
* To lead, direct and deliver the assigned categories within the Grocery channel
Specific Responsibilities:
* Develop and grow the relationship between 3M and our key customers
* Achieve budgeted sales.
* Analyse data to identify growth opportunities for the category
* Develop and manage all Temporary Price Reductions (TPR’s) in line with business strategy and promotional budgets
* Manage Customer Trading Terms including rebate programs in line with business objectives and budgets
* Manage the 3M brand presence in all customer media outlets, such as Online, Catalogue and In-store
* Drive store level execution nationally by ensuring a robust brief and clear expectations of the Field Force
* Provide ex-factory forecast to Demand Planner within 3M lead time
* Manage the range review process from end to end, supporting category growth with our key customers
Specific Duties:
Key Account Management
* Deliver quarterly business reviews for each category with the respective Category Manager/ACM
* Host monthly WIPs with key customer contacts
* Deliver weekly stock position to our key customers based on their demand plan
* Work with 3M Analytics and Insights team to continually identify growth opportunities for the category and 3M
* Work with 3M Trade Developer to execute all planned activations with our customers
* Work with 3M Shopper Marketing teams to identify growth opportunities for each 3M brand
* Support the execution of the marketing plans in the field.
* Showcase and celebrate wins with the wider APAC team on Salesforce
* Methodically prioritise key activities, with specific focus on accomplishments which serve to meet or exceed customer needs in alignment with divisional strategy
* Attend, participate and contribute to monthly sales meetings and Performance Everyday sessions.
Product Knowledge:
* Serve as a comprehensive resource that can effectively match all of the customers product needs with a 3M solution.
* Contrast and compare 3M and competitive products in terms of concept and function (benefits).
* Serve as a Consultant and credible resource to whom your customers can turn for product and industry knowledge.
Administration and Reporting:
* Provide detailed feedback of market trends, competitive activity and industry trends.
* Complete monthly expense reports in accordance with company policy.
* Ensure a timely response to wider 3M business unit requests
* Ensure CRM (Salesforce) opportunities are maintained within acceptable timeframes, while ensuring all customer interactions are recorded
Qualifications:
* Bechelor's degree or above
* Sales experience (5 Years) ideally with Grocery customers (Woolworths & Coles, Costco preferred)
* Proven sales record
* National or Key Account Management
* Strong analytical, conceptual & planning skills
* Strong negotiation skills
* Travel within Australia is required.
