Reporting to the Head of Commercial and Strategy for Qantas Freight, in this dynamic role, you will contribute to the planning and strategic management of Freight's diverse operations, from domestic freight and freighter aircraft to international freight and terminal operations.You will work closely with internal stakeholders, as well as broader Qantas Group teams, to make informed decisions that will guide the future direction of the business.With your strong analytical and communication skills, you will present compelling cases for new initiatives, ensuring that Freight remains at the forefront of a rapidly evolving market. You'll have – Proven ability to operate independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision. Expertise in resolving complex challenges and structuring solutions for clear decision-making and implementation. Strong strategic acumen and experience employing a consultant approach to problem-solving and business development. Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively at all organisational levels to deliver program outcomes. Demonstrated capacity to identify critical issues, structure comprehensive project plans, and develop strategic options to drive business success. In-depth understanding of strategic and financial evaluation methodologies to assess and inform business decisions. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and presentation.
