Paramatta based with Flexible work arrangements.About the roleWe are seeking 2 x Senior Investment Analysts to report to the Investment Assurance Manager on a full-time permanent basis. This pivotal role will provide critical advice and assurance to our leadership team regarding the opportunity, risks, prudency, efficiency, and robustness of proposed investment decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise and assure leadership on the viability of investment proposals, ensuring alignment with commercial management objectives.Collaborate with executives, business managers, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive investment proposals.Provide assurance to external agencies, including NSW Treasury, INSW, and IPART, regarding the prudency and efficiency of investment decisions.Support the Post Implementation Review and Benefits Management processes, partnering with portfolio and business leads to integrate lessons learned and maximize benefits realization.Conduct trend analysis and reporting to the Executive and stakeholders, highlighting assurance findings across the capital program.Exercise independent thinking to influence and constructively challenge stakeholders on investment proposals, ensuring optimal risk management and customer value.Essential CriteriaYou must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of application.QualificationsRelevant degree qualification (e.g. engineering, IT, procurement, accounting, economics, business, science)Experience & SkillsExperience working in analytical roles in finance, commerce, engineering or business.Knowledge of regulatory business practices, including the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal's pricing process, as well as capital project accounting, reporting procedures, risk management and capital investment management is highly regarded.Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to successfully resolve complex issues.Navigate conflicting priorities and clearly communicate with diverse stakeholder groups.Closing date: Wednesday 12 February :59pm AEST.Why join usAt Sydney Water, your work will make a real difference in people's lives-and your own.
