The Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) is the largest public hospital in the state and operates at a level 6 capability providing acute inpatient and outpatient surgical services, and elective and emergency surgical services for the Hospitals South.
The Role
Stepping into the role you will provide high-level data information to deliver on the Annual Service Agreement with the knowledge and skill set to analyze and provide recommendations at surgical specialty detail level.
You will have the opportunity to provide advice, guide, and interpret frameworks, with your demonstrated knowledge of analytical procedures.
Across the hospital and the department, there are senior clinical and professional colleagues. Using your interpersonal skills, you will strive to problem-solve, provide constructive advice, and collaborate effectively to guide outcomes.
The role will play an integral part in achieving high-quality patient health care through the most efficient and innovative use of available resources, business planning, procurement, and cost-effective strategies.
About You
It’s a busy and rewarding role where you will have a direct impact on a patient’s journey within the public health care system. You need to have surgical and perioperative operational understanding, structural understanding, and an in-depth knowledge of the THS activity and financial systems.
You'll have patient care at the forefront of all that you do and work with other like-minded people to ensure administrative and business support that ensures quality patient care.
You will collaborate with others every day, within your team, the broader unit, the hospital setting, and the wider department and public domain. You'll need to be service-oriented and committed to continuously improving the services you provide.
Details of Appointment:
A permanent, full-time, day worker, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $107,899 to $122,292 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
