The position
Reporting to the Village Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Assisting and supporting residents in their daily activities, including tasks like continence management, showering, dressing, and personal grooming
* Ensuring residents receive their prescribed medications promptly and accurately
* Collaborating in the preparation, service, and delivery of daily meals and special functions for our cherished residents
* Managing laundry tasks for residents as required, maintaining their comfort and hygiene
We’re on the lookout for someone with:
* Demonstrated experience in the role and industry
* Great communication skills both written and verbal
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
* Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport (desirable)
* National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
* First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
