Your New Chapter As a Training Assistant focused on Workshop Coordination, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our training workshops. You will be responsible for a range of tasks from cadaver preparation to administrative duties, ensuring all sessions run efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities Workshop Coordination:
1. Cadaver Preparation: Prepare cadavers in accordance with the VTC Procedure – Cadaver Management policy.
2. Equipment Setup: Set up all required equipment and resources for the workshops.
3. WHS Induction: Conduct Workplace Health and Safety inductions and obtain signed WHS agreements from each attendee.
4. Welcome Address: Deliver welcome addresses to attendees and introduce educators.
5. Catering Management: Order, set out, and clean up catering for workshops.
6. Point of Contact: Serve as the main point of contact on the day for any general inquiries from attendees and educators.
7. Training Support: Assist educators with the delivery of training content as required.
8. Workshop Cleanup: Oversee and support attendees with re-bagging cadavers and cleaning equipment at the conclusion of each workshop.
General Responsibilities:
9. Stock Management: Perform stocktake and ordering of consumables and general supplies at the end of each workshop.
10. Administrative Tasks: Handle general administrative tasks to support workshop operations.
11. Cadaver Audit Log: Maintain the cadaver audit log in accordance with the VTC Procedure – Cadaver Management policy.
12. Quarterly Stocktake: Conduct quarterly consumables stocktake.
13. Ad Hoc Support: Assist the Learning and Development team with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Skills, Attributes, and Experience:
14. Relevant tertiary qualification in a veterinary discipline.
15. Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
16. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
17. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
18. Ability to handle sensitive materials with care and discretion.
