In this role, you'll :
1. Work as part of a brand-new team to establish a Bus Regulatory Transformation Program.
2. Deliver on a range of recommendations assigned by the Bus Taskforce.
3. Collaborate with colleagues across SPER (Safety, Policy, Environment and Policy), Transport, and the industry to rethink current ways of working, shape policy and regulation, and drive meaningful safety improvements.
This is an exciting opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of stakeholders across SPER and the Coordinator General Division and be a part of a program of works that supports large scale regulatory transformation. Please note that this is a temporary fixed term role up until 17 / 02 / 2025.
About you
Your strong Project Management capability and experience working on policy / regulatory and transformation work within the government space will see you excel in shaping and delivering on a range of complex and interconnected recommendations assigned to SPER by the Bus Taskforce. You’re recognised as someone who is an excellent communicator and leverages stakeholder management to drive outcomes.
If you enjoy being involved in business transformation initiatives, you’re motivated by being able to problem solve and come to solutions in collaboration with colleagues, and energised by more strategic work and adopting a whole of division / whole of Transport perspective, we’d love to see your expression of interest for this opportunity.
This team is currently enjoying a hybrid way of working in line with the base office located at 231 Elizabeth St Sydney and evolving in line with Transport's policies for workplace presence.
