Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, design, and implementation of network development strategies and projects for our client's energy network. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, regulatory obligations, and customer needs to drive the network development agenda. Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and industry partners to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and influence policy development. Identify emerging technologies and industry trends to inform network development strategies, fostering innovation and optimizing network performance. Analyse network performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Effectively manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver network development projects within scope and on schedule. Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior management regarding network development initiatives, risks, and opportunities. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, energy management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. Proven experience in a similar role within the energy or utilities sector, with a focus on network development, planning, or operations. In-depth knowledge of energy network infrastructure, including distribution and transmission systems. Experience in regulatory compliance and engagement with regulatory bodies. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams and foster a collaborative work culture. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences. Analytical mindset and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies. Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
