With rapid growth in both our company and the data centre industry, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects within critical infrastructure sites in Sydney.
This full-time, permanent role offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining flexibility with hands-on involvement in our expanding team.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will: Lead and drive growth within your team, fostering a dynamic environment focused on learning, development, and innovation in data centre projects.Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient execution of data centre installations, upgrades, and maintenance.Manage resource allocation, workforce scheduling, and cost control to keep projects on track and within budget.Conduct site meetings, perform inspections, and ensure all projects meet the highest industry standards.Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to estimate, quote, and process proposals.Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality assurance protocols, ensuring compliance within critical infrastructure environments.Mentor and support Technicians and Apprentices, promoting best practices and high-quality outcomes.About You: You will:
Have a background in the data centres, cabling and/or electrical industries.Be eligible to undergo a NV1 security clearance.Hold a current ACMA licence with endorsements in Structured and Fibre Optics and/or be a fully qualified electrician with current licencing.Encompass strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to consistently deliver high quality projects.Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality assurance (HSEQ).Have an exceptional attention to detail and a high proficiency in using project management software and the MS Office suite.
Experience in using SimPro would be highly desirable.Understand tendering and estimating, as well as basic accounting fundamentals.Be a strong communicator, enthusiastic and driven, with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
