About the role
The Solution Delivery Manager leads several teams responsible for the delivery, support and enhancement of bespoke application solutions for external state and federal health agencies and Customers.
The role is also responsible for the management and governance of the Product Management practice and provides domain knowledge and consultancy on Product Management for external agencies and Customers, with a focus on application software and services.
This role will develop and maintain close working relationships across the ICT and Strategy & Growth Divisions in particular.

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information & Communication Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
* Significant experience in leading and managing technology teams.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, users and Customers.
* Ability to influence the direction of the National Systems Development technology service across the key stakeholder groups.
* Demonstrated experience in Product Management and Technology Service Delivery disciplines.
* Proven management capabilities across internal/external customers, vendors, people and finance.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skill especially when presenting technology solutions to a non-technical audience.
* Strong ability to guide, advise and lead senior internal and external stakeholders and through a period of change and development.
* Strong degree of innovation and able to influence, facilitate and negotiate effectively.
* Passion for technology with clear understanding of how technology solutions can support a positive Customer experience.
* Demonstrated experience with software development and documentation.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a hybrid working environment based out of our Processing Centre in Melbourne, however we are open to candidates from other locations within Australia.
