Senior Accountant- SMSF Job Description

Your typical week in this role will involve accurate SMSF processing for a diverse client base. You'll have the chance to collaborate with a high-performing team and engage directly with stakeholders and clients within your portfolio. Continuous self-improvement is encouraged through on-the-job learning and personalized training. Surround yourself with people who can inspire, mentor and challenge you.
What will your typical week look like?
4. Prepare financial statements and ie tax returns for SMSFs from start to finish.
5. Exhibit ownership qualities and efficiently manage your workflow.
6. Collaborate with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
7. Create detailed workpaper files, including investment, ie, and CGT reconciliations.
8. Problem solving, liaising with the Auditor, Actuary and other stakeholders.

13. Knowledge and experience in SMSF processing.
14. Strong technical skills, including a fundamental understanding of the SIS Act and SIS Regs.
15. Experience using Class Super software (desirable).
16. CA or CPA qualified (preferred).
