The Role The role will be responsible for overseeing the progress of Product Discovery phase including the following key areas of responsibility: Lead the product discovery phase for key areas, ensuring a structured outcome driven approach. Coordinate internal teams and external agencies, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment. Work with cross functional teams to define and manage discovery activities. Develop and maintain plans, timelines and key milestones for the Discovery phase. Collaborating with stakeholders to define and refine product and technology strategies and roadmaps. Contribute to the creation of business cases to support future investment and decision making. Manage vendor engagement, including proposal reviews, scope definition, and contract execution. Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and constraints, ensuring smooth progression. Drive change management initiatives to enhance ways of working, particularly in Agile and cross functional collaboration. Facilitating Steering Committee, preparing reports and presentations to keep leadership informed. Your Profile To be the successful candidate you will be immediately available and have experience in the following areas: Strong background in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering digital projects on time and within scope. Experience working with external vendors and agencies, including managing proposals, contract, and scope of work. Ability to think big picture while executing on the details, ensuring discovery outcomes are actionable. Ability to drive product and technology strategy development, translating into actionable roadmaps and business cases. Be flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic with a high level of self-motivation and initiative. Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging executives, cross functional teams, and external partners. Hands on experience leading Agile ceremonies (e.g. stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and working within Agile delivery frameworks. Strong change management capabilities particularly in improving ways of working, team collaboration, and adoption of agile methodologies. Strong ability to build relationships, work cross functionally, and bring people along on the journey. Experience managing digital transformation projects. Prior experience in education, government or non-profit sectors. Familiarity with digital experience platforms, content management systems and integrations.
