About The Role
The Junior Interior Designer is responsible for reviewing plans and schedules across a range of projects in the Lifestyle portfolio. The role works alongside project teams and supports the Senior Interior Designer in the delivery of new and existing projects.
Key Accountabilities
1. Prepare & update fittings, finishes & equipment schedules in line with project budget across a variety of projects
2. Review furnishing schedules & create visuals to demonstrate intent
3. Review detail design drawings to endorse for construction
4. Research, understand, and interpret design concepts, materials & equipment to support portfolio and brand strategy
5. Manage in-house sample library and order samples
6. Review conceptual project renders to ensure correct representation of finishes, furnishings & design intent
7. Assist with the installation of furnishings and display material to support Sales Launches and events
8. Assist with procurement of suitable furniture, décor, finishes, and equipment for the launch of display villages and community facilities
9. Monitor procurement against set budgets
10. Ensure all project documentation is updated and filed accordingly
11. Prepare post-installation & site inspection reports
About You
1. Qualification in Interior Design or Property Styling highly regarded
2. Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office
3. Experience with REVIT would be highly regarded
4. Confident in building relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
5. Have a passion for colour, style, and an eye for detail
6. Understanding of space planning
7. Good organisational skills, to ensure each project is completed on time and within budget
8. Strong communication and negotiation skills
9. Current driver’s licence
