We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our Hospitality Services team at Robinvale District Health Services.
The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting meals to our patients and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and cooking nutritious meals in a fast-paced environment
* Presenting meals in an appealing manner
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
* Working effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
* Purchasing ingredients and supplies
* Managing time efficiently to meet deadlines
* Providing excellent communication and customer service skills
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
* Current Food Handling Certificate
* Able to work unsupervised with minimal supervision
* Experience in purchasing and stock control
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
* Clear police check
