The Role
Reporting to the Manager Capital Program, this position is responsible for managing a portfolio of capital and priority projects within Council's established frameworks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard. You will oversee all aspects of project planning, resource management, stakeholder engagement, contract administration and project reporting for full life cycle projects within the region.
Manage full life cycle Capital projects within council frameworks and provide project management supportReview Capital works programs, designs and tenders to identify cost-saving and risk mitigation opportunitiesOversee project resources, budgets and plans to ensure delivery within budget and timeframesManage contract administration including developing tender scoping and documentationReport monthly on project performance, plan, coordinate and facilitate project inspections, milestones and progress meetingsComplete asset capitalisation tasks post project, enhance cost estimations and improve project planningEnsure safety, compliance and customer satisfaction by regularly reviewing project effectivenessBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and foster productive networksAbout You Bachelor degree in Project Management, Construction Management (or related discipline), or substantial project management experience in project delivery and executionStrong understanding of project delivery frameworksExperience successfully building relationships and engaging stakeholder groups at all levelsHigh level negotiation and communication skillsProficient computer skills as well as the MS Office suiteBenefits Offering a range of employment benefits9-day fortnight with flexible working arrangements (hybrid work, flexible start and finish times)If this sounds like you, please click apply or contact Grace Johnstone on 0489 937 432 for a confidential discussion today!
