We have an opportunity to join the Stockland Halcyon Communities Operations team as National Manager, LLC Communities & Asset Management. This position is a key role within the Stockland Halcyon Communities Operations Leadership team. Given it is a national role we are open to candidates from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
About the role
Core responsibilities include creating and sustaining harmonious communities through strong homeowner engagement and disciplined management of common facilities to ultimately increase asset valuations over time. This role leads and drives homeowner and asset management strategies, optimises financial performance of the stabilised portfolio and manages a growing team of Community Managers and Facility Caretakers.
Reporting to the Head of LLC Portfolio Operations, you’ll have overall responsibility for the stabilised portfolio, ensuring that financial and operational targets are met, homeowner feedback and complaints are resolved in a timely and proper manner, maintenance of common areas and facilities are delivered in line with our Stockland Halcyon service standard and that all activities are within the framework of Stockland Halcyon’s values, policies, and processes.
You’ll work closely with our development and project teams while communities are under development and then lead the day-to-day management of the communities beyond the development phase. You’ll also have deep and proven experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
About you
To ensure your success, you’ll bring experience from working in large organisations, within land lease communities or retirement living, property management, asset or facilities management and the ability to see the big picture while being particular about finer detail.
* Proven ability in successfully leading, managing and mentoring teams
* Able to demonstrate success in financial and goal outcome management
* Experience in preparing, analysing and presenting reports at an executive level, including for capital partners
* Capability in project strategy and managing multimillion dollar budgets
* Experience managing, leading and being the interface across a wide range of stakeholders
* Proven record of developing and facilitating innovative services and strategies
* Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
* A creative and strategic approach to problem solving
* Open to and have the flexibility for frequent travel, state and interstate
