About the role:
Ace Plus has an exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance, Reliability & Asset Manager to join our growing Maylands team on a full-time permanent basis.
In this role, you will support business strategic growth by identifying, developing and implementing best practice strategic asset management principles, processes and system development within the facility maintenance sector. As we look to expand across Australia, you will focus on building and implementing client asset management strategies by maximising the effectiveness of our people, systems and processes to ensure a superior client experience and effective asset lifecycle management.
This role is responsible for:
* Conducting asset management, maintenance and reliability reviews, audits and gap assessments
* Creating and documenting improved asset management systems and business processes
* Developing strategic asset management plans and asset management plans
* Understanding and enhancing asset management competence within their organisations
* Developing and implementing improved asset management processes and practices
* Creating and documenting improved maintenance and reliability systems and business processes
* Improving maintenance planning and scheduling processes and practices
* Developing and improving their processes for improving equipment reliability
* Coaching and training team members to implement improved maintenance management and reliability engineering processes and practices
* Creating and delivering training in asset management, maintenance and reliability
* Developing proposals for new projects
* Project managing and supervising the work of other consultants
* Liaising with clients and potential clients to uncover potential leads and sales opportunities

Required skills & experience:
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry
* WA Driver’s Licence
* Experience in asset lifecycle management and reliability improvement programs
* Proficient in Microsoft Office & business systems
* In-depth understanding of asset management principles
* Knowledge of facility maintenance techniques and condition monitoring tools
* Experience in reliability-centred maintenance and failure modes and effects analysis
* Skills in performing root cause analysis
* Proficiency in statistical tools and methods for reliability data analysis
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff to achieve optimal performance
* Skills in conflict resolution, communication and collaboration
* Proficiency in coordinating maintenance and reliability improvement projects
* Ability to prioritise tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines under pressure
* Strong understanding of project management tools
* Ability to analyse asset performance data and interpret it to make data-driven decisions
* Strong critical thinking to troubleshoot complex technical problems
* Experience in implementing CMMS software
* Skills in configuring systems for asset tracking, reporting, and maintenance work orders
* Ability to clearly communicate with various stakeholders and build strong relationships
