Veterinarian Full time Lincoln Veterinary Centre RR-7229
Join our team in the stunning coastal area at Port Lincoln, South Australia!
About us:
Lincoln Veterinary Centre in South Australia is currently seeking a Veterinarian who is highly motivated and looking for an exciting diverse clinical environment.
Imagine working in a rural area where you can focus on providing a high level of service to the local pets from a very well-equipped clinic.
The clinic is located in Ravendale House, a heritage listed building originally built to house Her Majesty Queen Victoria’s Colonial Officers. Inside, there has been extensive renovations to accommodate a modern architecturally designed vet clinic.
Within the practice, there is a highly skilled and dedicated team passionate about educating our clients to ensure an exemplary standard of health and well-being for their pets.
To add interest and a service to the surrounding regional areas, we conduct remote clinics, the furthest being 4 hours drive away.
The role:
The clinic is open between 8am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12pm on Saturday. We do provide an after-hours service, but with the right quota of vets, it would be only one weekend in 4 or 5. The after-hours compensation is among the most generous you'll find.
What we can offer:
* A 38 hour Full Time Monday-Friday position, with minimal after-hours or weekend work.
* Access to one of the strongest networks of veterinary professionals, ongoing training and support towards your professional development.
* Work with an established high performing team.
* Sponsorship and a Visa for you and your dependents, if applicable.
* Relocation allowance, if applicable, generous CPD allowance and employee assistance program.
What you can offer us:
* BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in South Australia.
* Minimum of 3 years of employment experience as a Registered Vet.
* A passion for surgery.
* High standards of care with a proactive and accountable attitude.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated client relationship building skills.
* A hard working and hands-on approach to your work.
* Effective time management and organisation skills.
* Ability to oversee the caseload and work autonomously as well as in a team.
