The ClientElephy Group Pty Ltd in Port Hedland in WA is an established freight and logistics company.They are now looking to hire motivated individuals to join their successful team as Truck Drivers (ANZSCO 733111) in Port Hedland in WA.The RoleThis is a full-time role with an annual salary set between $75,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation.The ResponsibilitiesSome tasks may include.Delivers freight to agencies in a timely manner as per routing scheduleOperates vehicle in compliance with company rules, applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with accepted principles of safe drivingReports unusual traffic conditions and other hazards noted enrouteReports promptly any unusual delays or difficulties regarding delivery sitesLoads and Unloads product on truck for delivery when necessaryChecks condition of load for safe transportation, and rearranges as necessaryChecks shipping papers to determine nature of load and any special conditionsMaintains records required for compliance with state and federal regulationsKeeps record of time, mileage, pallets shipped and received, any mechanical problems and general remarksInspects vehicle and required parts and accessories to determine safe operating condition prior to departure from yardUses and cares properly for all equipment assigned to the driver for the performance of dutiesEnsuring weights adhere to loading restrictions and secure weight distribution.Ensuring load is restraint as per the load restraint guidelines.The Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience gained in a commercial driving capacityMinimum 1 years of experience driving local WA and interstate freight routesMust hold MC license must be up to date and driving records cleanMust consistently meet federal and state driving requirements, safety rules and regulationsAbility to communicate in a clear and understandable mannerThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamAble to pass a drug and alcohol testVerifiable work references
