As our next Commis Chef, you will:
1. Maintain the effective operation of the kitchen
2. Be able to deliver a variety of dinner shifts, breakfast shifts, and functions
3. Ensure high quality and presentation of food provided to guests, according to property standards and timeframes of service
4. Maintain a safe clean and organised work environment with emphasis on high food safety standards
5. Be trained and mentored by our Head Chef and Sous Chef.
What we are looking for:
6. Someone who has ambition, talent, and a passion for food
7. A person who has the willingness to take on feedback and try new things
8. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes, team environment
9. The possession of recognised culinary training and employment experience
10. A commercial cookery certification and preferably, you will have obtained safe food handling certificate or food safety supervisor
