Sales Executive - Healthcare | Water Filtration & Treatment | Australia-wide, Australia-owned Your new company Sales Executive opportunity to work with a family-owned Australian company who specialise in Water Filtration and Treatment technology. This vacancy focusses on the healthcare verticals, specifying their products, installing and commissioning engineered solutions for private and private hospitals, along with the builders and contractors, as well as laboratories and pathologies. Your new role It will be to develop a sales pipeline and win tenders to supply, install and commission engineered water filtration and treatment systems for the healthcare industry across Australia. The sales lifecycles for these projects, which average between $300k - $400k, could be between 18 months - 3 years, as you identify upcoming projects, work with the end user at the hospital, the contractor, engineering firms and plumbing and hydraulics contractors to ensure the specification holds, and the client is given optimum service levels throughout. You will inherit some pipeline of upcoming projects that you will be tasked with closing with the assistance of the Head of Sales, and will also be expected to prospect for new business and grow new accounts. What you'll need to succeed Knowledge of the healthcare industry is essential. Previous knowledge of selling bespoke and engineered solutions is ideal, but transferable skills sets of selling other medical devices into healthcare would also be considered. Technical knowledge of devices used in Infection Control and Renal Dialysis would be a major upside. Otherwise, the core Water Filtration and Treatment technology can be taught during the onboarding with the business. A proven track record of following long sales lifecycles to secure project work of significant value.
