The position holds responsibility for project delivery and as such requires a "hands on" approach to accompany strong leadership and stakeholder management.Major Responsibilities:System and Process Improvement ProgrammeUndertake system and process improvements to enable the adoption of best practice throughout HR and Payroll practices.Program Team LeadershipLead, supervise and manage Program team resources reporting to this role while fostering collaborative relationships within and across teams.Project ManagementWork with Project Executive Sponsors and Strategy and Project Management Office staff to review, monitor, and report on the progress of allocated projects.Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with the Executive, project and change managers and other Leadership Team members to integrate change management activities into project plans.
Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver Systems and Process Improvement projects and in particular engage with the BAU Payroll and HR Teams in project planning and handover.The Successful ApplicantAbout youTo be the right candidate for the System & Process Transformation Manager role you will ideally come with a tertiary qualification in a field such as Finance or Human Resources and have both a current Australian Driver's Licence and eligibility to work within the country throughout the appointment.In addition, you should be able to demonstrate:Clear, in-depth understanding of end-to-end payroll business processes and practices, reporting requirements and other statutory compliance requirements.Outstanding people management skills, with demonstrated experience in managing, motivating mentoring and leading a team of staff in a changing environment with deadlines and tight timeframes.Excellent interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience and skills in liaison, negotiation and conflict resolution with stakeholders at all levels.Excellent organisational and planning skills in managing competing priorities in a project environment.Demonstrated experience in analysing complex business problems, identifying options and implementing solutions.Proven ability to exercise sound judgement in complex decision making.Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, collaboration and the maintenance of a supportive work environment.What's on OfferThis is a true value-adding position offering the opportunity to drive and shape change within a large and complex organisation - with the added advantage of contributing to a for-purpose mission.
