As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all workshop activities to ensure deadlines, quality, and safety standards are being met.
Austcorp Executive is partnering with a leading Australian owned company specializing in the design and manufacture of industry-leading OEM lifting equipment for Australian and International markets. This company operates within national and international markets covering a diverse and exciting project range.
The team is looking to recruit a Workshop Manager to lead and manage a team of Boilermakers and Mechanical fitters. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
1. Manage the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of a team of boilermakers and fitters.
2. Work closely with engineering, procurement, and the senior leadership team.
3. Identify areas of improvement in current manufacturing processes.
4. Ensure workshop quality and safety standards are being met.
A little bit about you:
1. Trade Qualification (Boilermaker, Mechanical Fitter, etc.)
2. A minimum of 5 years experience managing a large workshop.
3. Experience working with an Original Equipment Manufacturer.
4. Experience with Heavy Fabrication and Assembly.
5. Welding Inspection Experience (Preferred).
