The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Band 1 Real Estate team in Sydney. The team acts for government agencies and many large local and overseas based property developers, investors and real estate funds on some of the most significant real estate deals in Australia. You will gain access to a variety of interesting and complex commercial and mixed-use developments, sales and acquisitions, and leasing matters in a friendly, team environment where there are plenty of opportunities for learning and skill development. You will also have the chance to work with other partners and lawyers across the network. To be successful in this role, you will have: an unrestricted Australian or New Zealand practicing certificate; demonstrable experience in transactional real estate across real estate development, investment, joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals. an excellent academic record, with an ability to apply that technical legal knowledge in a commercial environment. first-class attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to comprehend intricate legal matters and manage large-scale transactions. a proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team; and a hunger to learn and develop and be part of maintaining a market-leading practice.
