Clinical Neuropsychologist PositionThe Melbourne Clinic is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Grade 2 or 3 Clinical Neuropsychologist to join the Allied Health Team.The role is situated within our Neuropsychology Service and will involve the provision of inpatient neuropsychological assessment and intervention, and individual and group therapy. The service works with clients (17-90+ years) with a wide range of conditions, including neurodevelopmental conditions, acute and chronic mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, substance use, and later life cognitive changes (older adults).Key Responsibilities:Provision of inpatient neuropsychological assessment and interventionIndividual and group therapy for clients with various conditionsCollaboration with the neuropsychology and broader allied health teamsParticipation in quality improvement and clinical research projectsCo-design, facilitation, and evaluation of a newly established Autism ProgramRequirements:Registration with AHPRA and endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology (Grade 3 applicants)Approved supervisor status (Grade 3 applicants)Masters or Doctoral qualification in an APAC recognised Clinical Neuropsychology courseEndorsement as a clinical neuropsychologist, completing registrar program, or intention to commence registrar program (supervision provided)Highly developed communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated commitment to high quality service provision and to professional developmentWell-developed time management and work load organisational skillsA commitment to upholding high standards of ethical practiceDeveloped neuropsychological assessment, formulation and treatment planning skills, within a mental health settingExperience and competency in the provision of evidence based group therapiesCurrent Working with Children CheckBenefits:Career advancement opportunitiesClinical supervision from a senior in your disciplineOn site regular professional development opportunitiesAllocated allowance towards preferred Professional DevelopmentFull registration with AHPRAApplication Instructions:Please direct completed applications, including CV and cover letter addressing selection criteria to Dr Nicci Grace, Chief Neuropsychologist.
