Our busy practice is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer focused casual receptionist to join our close-knit team. We value respect, teamwork, efficiency and trust, and the successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate alignment with these core values.
About the role:
As part of our reception team you will be the first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for their experience. You will be working collaboratively with your colleagues to provide reception and administrative support to doctors, nurses and patients. The successful applicant will be highly organised, adaptable, emotionally resilient and self-motivated.
The role includes a variety of tasks including:
1. Managing patient check-in and check-out procedures, including payments
2. Attending to incoming phone calls, electronic & hard copy correspondence
3. Scheduling of patient appointments
4. Opening and closing procedures, including banking reconciliation
5. Liaise with third parties including Workcover, insurance companies, specialists, lawyers, allied health and hospitals
6. Other administrative duties as identified by yourself and the team.

9. Demonstrated computer literacy
10. Ability to respond to patients’ needs in a calm, warm and friendly manner in sometimes stressful circumstances
Experience is not essential as we are willing to invest in a candidate who shares our values.
This is a casual position with shifts between the hours of 7.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
