We are seeking an experienced Head of Hotel Operations for a vibrant 100-room hotel in Melbourne, featuring a notable F&B concept with a restaurant, bar, and several function rooms catering to corporate and wedding market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations of the hotel, including rooms division and F&B services.
* Manage and lead the hotel workforce, ensuring high operational standards and staff performance.
* Work within tight budgets and contribute to revenue generation through strategic planning and promotions.
* Develop and implement effective operational strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
* Coordinate and manage events and functions, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality service.
* Monitor and analyse financial performance, making data-driven decisions to optimise profitability.
Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role.
* Proven expertise in both rooms division and F&B operational management.
* Strong financial acumen with experience in working to tight budgets and driving revenue growth.
* Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach to managing and developing staff.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.
