As a Safety Coordinator, you will oversee health and safety compliance across roadworks projects. You’ll lead safety audits, deliver training, and ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and best practices. This is a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. DUTIES. Conduct site safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance. Lead safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks for site teams. Investigate incidents and provide detailed reports with recommendations. Collaborate with project managers to implement and improve safety processes. Ensure project sites comply with all relevant workplace health and safety legislation. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Proven experience in a safety role within civil construction, ideally in roadworks. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, policies, and best practices. Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent qualification. Excellent communication and leadership skills to train and guide teams.
