About Your New Role…
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, an exciting opportunity has become available in our Northmead Maintenance team for an Inventory Controller. This role will see you play a key part within the Maintenance team to meet objectives encompassing maintaining plant and equipment, in accordance with ensuring inventory items are well organised in the maintenance system and in line with Asset Care guidelines.
What You Will Be Doing… Maintain store and facilities areas to a high standard of parts availability and housekeeping. Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock levels. Demonstrate strong ownership of the store and inventory. Conduct regular inventory checks (SOX compliance). Ensure inventory aligns with maintenance schedules and demands. Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery. Communicate with suppliers about lead times, delays, or quality concerns. Maintain accurate data in the Maintenance management systems (Maximo). Provide input on improvements to inventory tracking and reporting processes. Preparation of parts for major overhauls and key critical tasks. Ensure compliance with company compliance measures. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory data and documentation. Address and resolve inventory-related issues promptly. Let's Talk About You… Forklift license. At least 1 year's previous experience in FMCG or similar industry controlling inventory or purchasing. Understanding of inventory requirements planning. Business Systems Aptitude. Business administration and personal organisation skills. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other team members and third-party suppliers. What's in it for you?
