DFP Recruitment is seeking an IT Solutions Architect to assist in defining modern connected and digital services that support the delivery of our key priorities. The role involves integrating whole-of-government standards and initiatives to deliver a simpler, modern customer experience.

We are seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to support and enhance ICT investments and programs, ensuring they effectively support citizens and businesses through efficient digital services. We are looking for innovative individuals to collaborate in defining modern connected and digital services that align with our strategic priorities, integrate government-wide standards and initiatives, and provide a streamlined, contemporary customer experience. Candidates must possess a background in solution development within the Microsoft stack, utilising advanced cloud technologies.
Role Responsibilities
5. Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect within a federal Department including writing high level and detailed designs and engaging key suppliers (cyber security etc) and business stakeholders, to achieve the right design outcomes.
6. Proven ability to document Azure/.Net based architecture, solutions and processes up to secret level.
7. Provide detailed technical advice relating to on premise and cloud architecture and technologies .
8. Experience leading and supporting a team of technical experts in defining guidance, coding standards and best practices for solution development and maintenance.
9. Multiple years of Microsoft .Net experience doing full stack development including using Azure resources such as Functions, Logic Apps, PaaS SQL, API Manager, Service Bus, Entra ID, and deployment using YAML pipelines.
10. Strong understanding of the cyber landscape, and specific Australia Government requirements and best practices along with industry best practices.
