Add expected salary to your profile for insightsLocation: Tomago, NSWPosition Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role:Bis Industries is seeking an experienced Assets Manager to lead and implement asset management strategies for our Underground mobile fleet, including light vehicles.Reporting to the Chief Planning & Transformation Officer, this role focuses on lifecycle planning, fleet performance, and maintenance strategies to optimise asset reliability and reduce costs.Key Responsibilities: Asset & Fleet Management: Develop and oversee an asset management strategy ensuring fit-for-purpose fleet composition.Manage lifecycle processes, maintenance strategies, and technical standards.Evaluate maintenance frequency and develop robust processes to mitigate risks.Systems & Reporting: Drive improvements in asset performance and reliability through detailed analysis.Maintain accuracy and ongoing improvement of maintenance management systems.Ensure compliance with safety standards and mandatory work orders.Team Leadership: Lead a multidisciplinary team (3–4 direct reports).Build collaboration across teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Conduct performance reviews and support succession planning.Compliance & Technical Standards: Ensure fleet compliance with legislative and company standards.Stay updated on industry innovations and regulatory changes.Commercial & Financial Management: Partner with Commercial teams to align lifecycle costs with customer pricing.Oversee projects to achieve optimal business outcomes.About You:We're looking for someone with:Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).Experience: Strong asset management or maintenance background, ideally in mining.Proven ability to develop and evaluate asset and maintenance strategies.Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.Skills & Competencies: Familiarity with asset management standards and underground coal legislation.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Strong business acumen and ability to provide strategic recommendations.Proficiency with maintenance management systems and data analysis.Why Bis?At Bis Industries, we are committed to fostering a culture of Zero Harm, teamwork, and operational excellence.This is an opportunity to influence fleet performance and make a tangible impact on business outcomes.How to Apply:Submit your application online with your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and achievements.Bis Industries is an equal-opportunity employer.We value diversity and encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds.#J-18808-Ljbffr
