The Infrastructure, Traffic and Civil Engineering Branch at Yarra City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Civil Construction Worker/Operator. You will be joining a team dedicated to providing high quality, efficient and best value services to the community through delivery of its core services in road and infrastructure maintenance.
Your success in the role of Civil Construction Worker/Operator will be measured by your ability to be an effective team player making a significant contribution in maintaining high levels of safety, quality and efficient work practices whilst improving the appearance and structural integrity of Councils streetscapes, assets and associated infrastructure.
The position of Civil Construction Worker/Operator activities include, but are not limited to:
4. Road Maintenance/Reinstatements
5. Sign/Street Furniture Maintenance
6. Drainage repairs
7. Concreting
8. Laying bluestone
9. Plant operations
10. Asphalting
Skills and Experience in the following disciplines will be highly sought after:
11. Excavator operations & Skidsteer with profiler attachment operations experience
12. Asphalt placement
13. HR licence (Preferable)
