The Senior Business Analyst will be providing intelligence to identify opportunities to enhance the end-to-end collections experience through designing, tracking, reporting and monitoring outcomes and root cause themes from customer insights.Our Telco Pay and Assist team is focused on maximising collection effectiveness through improved collection processes, resulting in reduced net bad debt expense, and enhanced customer experience.What you'll be doing: Utilising advanced data analytics to monitor, assess, and optimize debt recovery performance, providing actionable insights to improve credit management processes and outcomes.Developing, managing, and enhancing data pipelines and reporting assets, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), to support effective credit and collections decision-making.Collaborating with cross-functional teams (finance, customer service, and operations) to define and implement initiatives that drive improvements in collections outcomes, process efficiencies, and debt reduction strategies.Applying business analysis techniques to identify root causes of inefficiencies, create process maps, and recommend enhancements that drive process optimisation and improve overall collections effectiveness.Ensuring compliance with financial, regulatory, and legal standards in all credit processes, providing support for change management activities, and maintaining adherence to industry best practices. What you'll bring: Proven experience in credit risk and collections analytics, preferably within the Telco industry.Expertise in data/analytics tools such as SQL, Python, or R Studio, with the ability to analyse large and complex data sets.Experience using data and analytics to deliver measurable cashflow protection or revenue generation for a large customer-facing organization.Demonstrated experience in analytical roles, providing actionable insights and implementing business outcomes based on recommendations.Strong understanding of credit management principles, with knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and processes.Ability to analyse processes, recommend solutions, and drive the solution to completion, improving credit management and debt recovery outcomes.
