We are currently hiring for two key positions:
• 1 x Spray Painter
• 1 x Paint Bay Leader

Position Overview
As part of Zone Manufacturing’s production team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our premium caravans are finished to the highest standard. Whether you’re applying for the Spray Painter position or stepping into the leadership role as the Paint Bay Leader, your work will contribute to the overall appearance and durability of our off-road caravans.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Spray-Painting: Apply high-quality finishes to caravan exteriors and interiors, ensuring a professional, long-lasting result.
• Surface Preparation: Perform sanding, grinding, body filling, and masking to prepare surfaces for painting.
• Colour Matching & Mixing: Accurately match colours, mix paints, and ensure proper application to all surfaces.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and finishing touches to maintain Zone RV’s high standards.
• Efficiency & Collaboration: Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment, collaborating with team members to meet tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Additional Responsibilities for Bay Leader Role:
In addition to the above, as the Paint Bay Leader, you will also need to:
• Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of spray painters, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Compliance with Schedules: Oversee the timely completion of all painting tasks while maintaining high-quality finishes.
• People Management: Guide, mentor, and support your team, fostering a positive work environment while maintaining productivity.
• Coordination with Other Departments: Liaise with other production teams to ensure smooth workflow and alignment with overall production goals.
Skills and Experience
• Experience: Previous experience in spray painting is essential for both roles, preferably in the automotive, caravan, or similar industries. Leadership experience is required for the Bay Leader role.
• Skills: Strong ability to prepare surfaces, mix paints, and apply finishes with precision. Attention to detail and craftsmanship are critical.
• Certifications: Forklift, scissor lift, or relevant industry certifications (e.g., Working at Heights, First Aid) are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Leadership (for Bay Leader role): Demonstrated ability to manage a team, coordinate schedules, and ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced production environment.
