HOBART PATHOLOGY Status: Full time – 37.5 hours per week Department: Client Services Role Summary: This is a full-time, Hobart based position with responsibility for identifying and maximising business development opportunities through the delivery of liaison services to clients including IT support. The role also has responsibility for maximising customer satisfaction and delivering a sustainable competitive advantage. About the Role: Promote DSPL services and assist with the liaison between DSPL Client IT and Doctors Install and maintain connection services to Hobart, Launceston and North West Pathology clients Establish and maintain professional and productive stakeholder relationships Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, including support for Practice Management Systems (PMS) both internal and external. Work with the Management team to provide commercial and strategic insights that can be used to influence appropriate events, sponsorships and campaigns Review customer complaints and take appropriate and timely action as required Identify, pursue and secure corporate business development opportunities for DSPL liaising with the Commercial/Industrial Testing Manager Identify and address specific service needs, service inadequacies and growth opportunities Resolve customer service and connection issues, both internal and external in consultation with the Operations Manager, State Laboratory Manager, Branch Laboratory Supervisors and Client IT. Maintain corporate branding of our collection centres, signage, courier fleet and other assets Selection Criteria: A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in client/customer service Relevant experience in pathology (highly desirable) Relevant qualifications in business, information technology and/or science (desirable) A current driver’s licence is essential Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills A proven commitment to service excellence, client management and stakeholder engagement.
