Professional 3 - Remuneration Package: $130,087 - $145,485 (including salary $110,873 - $124,173)Intensive Care UnitDarwin, Northern TerritoryFull-time, fixed for 12 monthsOpportunity for an accomplished pharmacist with critical care experience to explore working and living in the Territory.Opportunity for a Senior Pharmacist with critical care experience.Support the Intensive Care Units at Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals.Provide line management, training and supervisory support to pharmacy staff.As a Senior Pharmacist, Intensive Care (P3), you are an integral part of the ICU multidisciplinary team. This is a one-of-a-kind role in Australia, directly embedded within the ICU, providing an exceptional opportunity to influence patient care at the highest level.Your key duties will include providing specialist clinical pharmacy services to patients admitted to the ICU at RDPH, delivering line management, training and supervisory support to ICU nursing and medical staff and pharmacy staff, and coordinating the development of policy, protocol and guideline documents related to medication management in a critical care environment. In addition, you will participate in relevant Department of Surgery, Critical Care and Pharmacy Committees to improve medication safety and resource utilisation. Your participation in weekend and on-call rosters and your availability to perform out of hours emergency duties is essential.To be shortlisted, you require tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy, eligibility for registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia, and have extensive contemporary clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
