About the Team This role is part of the Technical Assurance team within the Payments Settlements department, Business Services Group.
Business Services Group is responsible for the provision of banking and payments services to Australian Government agencies, the provision of payment settlement services to Australian financial system participants through the Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System (RITS) and the Fast Settlement Service (FSS), the conduct of Exchange Settlement Accounts and the production and issuance of Australian banknotes.
About the Role Develop and implement NFT Test strategies and plans that are appropriate to address the risk and complexity of the projects or initiatives.
Support coordination and planning of testing activities of systems in the Payment Settlements (PS) department aimed at minimising risk while achieving high levels of quality, in the most pragmatic manner.
Manage and co-ordinate the business configuration changes and testing for the bank's Swift Net platform.
Ensure consistent application of testing standards, practices, and processes, whilst aiming for continuous improvement to achieve value-based practices.
Work with the team to drive quality improvements particularly in the testing space, to ensure a consistent approach to testing and to foster a quality mindset.
Analyse requirements and system changes, design and execute tests that aim to minimise risks and achieve the highest levels of quality assurance and reliability.
Provide second-level support to PS Operations and PS Settlements, this includes training, handover, and support documentations.
Proficiency and experience working in an agile environment preferred.
About You Extensive experience in the planning and testing of non-functional changes to mission critical systems.
Proficiency with performance testing tools and monitoring tools such as JMeter, App Dynamics, Gatling and similar tools.
Working experience in finance or banking industry.
Prior knowledge and experience working with Swift Net platform is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of payments and settlements systems is also desirable.
