By providing culturally appropriate services to at-risk families in partnership with Key Assets Australia, we are deeply committed to advocating for the safety of Aboriginal children, ensuring they remain at home with their families.Role OverviewThe Coordinator will oversee the Regional Support Hubs Program, which includes the Support Network, Community Case Management, and Regional Intensive Support streams. They will respond to critical incidents, provide staff supervision, and work with the Department of Communities to support families and ensure children's safety. The role involves providing case management in line with SWAMS policies and statutory requirements, delivering culturally appropriate services focused on Aboriginal families, and using evidence-based tools for information analysis and sharing. Additionally, the Coordinator will engage with specialist services for family support and refer families to the Department of Communities for intensive case management when needed. The Coordinator will also manage the "Service Network" phone service, helping clients access the support they need.Essential CriteriaKnowledge of the Children and Community Services Act 2004.Basic knowledge of developmental needs of children and young people.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and contemporary issues affecting Aboriginal People, and the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with communities, families, children and young people.Ability to regularly travel to regional offices to oversee staff in Bunbury, Collie, Manjimup & Busselton.Strong written skills, including report writing.Demonstrated ability to manage own time and work resources.Ability to work effectively as a team member.Ability to liaise with relevant government and non-government professionals, community groups, services, and agencies and present and report information to internal and external stakeholders.You Must Have aValid and current Driver's LicenceSatisfactory Criminal History CheckValid Employee Working with Children CheckValid and current NDIS Workers Screening CheckSWAMS offers above award wages, salary sacrificing and packaging options, 17.5% leave loading, generous uniform allowance, professional development opportunities and a flexible and autonomous working environment.To ApplyTo apply for this role please follow the online application process or email.
