With your experience, you will provide quality care to Luma’s clients.About the opportunityThis is a rewarding and challenging role where you will provide advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to patients in accordance with Nurse Practitioner legislation and functions. This role will have you working alongside our Medical Clinic and Mental Health teams. These multidisciplinary teams include General Practitioners, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Dietitian, Counsellors and Peer Workers.Key responsibilities include:Working alongside our mental health team to provide Nurse Practitioner care and support for those 14 years and upwards experiencing eating disorders.Providing advanced autonomous care to patients by prescribing medications, ordering and analysing pathology and radiological tests, and undertaking patient care.Contributing to the medical team tasks to ensure resources are kept up to date, cold chain is managed, stock is ordered, and medical equipment is checked.In this role you will need demonstrated clinical problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and person-centered care.AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner will be a requirement for this role. We will also be looking for clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of mental health, eating disorders, and/or sexual and reproductive health.This is a part-time position with permanent workdays to suit the right applicant – we’re happy to accommodate part-time or full-time hours!
