Aestec Services is currently seeking experienced and qualified ESTIMATOR to join the Aestec team in Gladstone. The Estimator will diligently create/compile internal documents through the full life cycle of a tender from bid evaluation to bid submission.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Estimator is required to carry out their duties including (but not limited) to the following:
Diligently prepare accurate confidential estimates and bid submissions for projects to grow the business in a positive trend whilst leveraging positive relationship with suppliers, subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and clients.
Provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions.
Ensure compliance with financial targets in a consistent and integrated manner to align with Aestec strategic direction.
Responsibilities include:
- Seek out opportunities for business growth
- Initial bid/tender receivable and internal GO/NO GO analysis including risk analysis
- Contract scrutiny for risks/opportunities
- Determine key client/contract requirements
- Subcontractors/supplier liaison including analysis and recommendations
- Detailed take off qualities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project schedules
- Internal stakeholder engagement
- Bid/Submission documentation
- Post tender negotiation (with the input from Senior Management)
The Estimator role is critical to the ongoing success of the business. As such, all interactions with external stakeholders must be conducted in a positive way to ensure ongoing growth and success of the business.

The right person for this role must have the following qualifications and experience:
Minimum 6 years in the Civil Construction industry or applicable industry
Previous experience in the Estimating industry
High Level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Outlook and MSP
Manual Driver’s Licence
White Construction Card
