You will play a critical role in supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of prisoners while ensuring the safety and security of inmates and the community. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wooroloo, WA. As a Clinical Nurse in the Mental Health team, you’ll make a positive impact by: Conducting advanced clinical assessments and managing patient care plans Providing evidence-based interventions for inmates with complex mental health needs Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care Participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities Providing leadership and guidance to the Mental Health Stream team Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and compliance with relevant policies Serco is a place for you You are a compassionate and experienced mental health professional with strong clinical and leadership skills. To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) A minimum of 4 years of post-graduate experience in mental health nursing Experience in clinical assessment, care planning, and discharge planning Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated leadership abilities within a clinical setting Experience in corrections or a similar environment (desired) You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
