About the role
Kings Engineering has exciting opportunities in its team for Electricians, with experience in maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment.
The successful people will be responsible for supporting the achievement of safety and production targets by providing high quality and timely maintenance service to a wide spectrum of engineering services including Mining, Transport, Construction, Rail, Tunnelling and Infrastructure, and Manufacturing industries. The role may involve the operation, maintenance, or repair of surface mining equipment, road headers and fixed equipment and assets.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide safe, effective, and efficient electrical maintenance services to customers
* Meet required targets with safety as the priority
* Provide maintenance and breakdown support on mobile and fixed plant
* Provide support as required on Electrical projects.
* Perform quality inspections of machinery, and document as per legislative and operational requirements
Essential Criteria
* Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
* Electrical Trade Certificate
* NSW Qualified Electrical Supervisors Certificate
* Experience in the maintenance & overhaul of heavy earthmoving equipment
* Ability to effectively communicate within and between work teams, demonstrating positive interpersonal skills
* Current valid NSW Driver's Licence
Desirable Criteria
* AS3800 qualification for Overhaul & Repair of Explosion-Protected Equipment
* Good understanding of AS3000 and strong quality assurance focus
* Experience in the maintenance and/or overhaul of underground mining equipment
* Experience in the maintenance and overhaul of Roadheaders
* Low Voltage Rescue Training and current First Aid certificate
