About the Role We're seeking an experienced Legal Accounts and Practice Manager to oversee the accounts and office operations of our Toorak office. This pivotal position combines traditional office management with specialised legal administrative duties, with a focus on trust accounting and legal invoicing. Key Responsibilities Financial Management Handle all daily and monthly trust account reconciliations and required reporting Work with fee earners to ensure that timesheets are completed, and all billable time is captured Process monthly invoicing and manage billing enquiries Collaborate with the bookkeeper on financial reporting Office Operations & Administration Manage daily office operations Oversee office resources and maintain efficient systems Coordinate with external vendors and service providers Legal Support Provide comprehensive support to principal lawyers Manage filing systems (both digital and physical) Handle diary management and deadline tracking Perform legal secretarial duties including document preparation What You'll Bring Minimum 2 years experience in trust account/practice management or similar role Experience with trust accounting and legal billing ( required ) Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal practice management software (e.g., Leap) Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional demeanour with high integrity and confidentiality Self-motivated with proven ability to multitask and problem-solve Adaptable team player who can work independently The Benefits Competitive salary package Professional development opportunities Collaborative work environment Modern office in prestigious Toorak location If you're ready to take the next step in your legal administration career, we want to hear from you.
