This is a full-time position offering potential career growth for high performing individuals.Your new roleAs an experienced Finance Manager, your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to the following:All finance reconciliations – general ledger, bank, and other as requiredPreparation of monthly reporting requirementsAssisting with annual financial auditPreparation of fixed assets registerCompletion of monthly BAS returnsFull function accounts receivable for residential aged care accounts and independent living units accountsPrepare and issue invoices and statements in a timely mannerEnsure all debts are collected in a timely mannerReconcile Medicare payment summaries and make any necessary adjustmentsAs required, provide break and leave relief coverage for finance staffContribute to the development and implementation of improvement projectsEnsure compliance with Privacy legislation and personal information confidentiality requirementsCreate, maintain and foster a safe work environmentMaintain professional expertise and performanceWhat you'll need to succeedBachelor of AccountingHold or working towards CPA/CACapable of completing a Police CheckCapable of providing two high level references, one within the past 12 months of employmentDemonstrated experience in all aspects of financial management of a company, preferably in an aged care facilityDemonstrated knowledge and practical application of contemporary accounting processes and requirementsExcellent time management, analytical and issues resolution skillsExperience in MS Office products, in particular intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel would be desirableMaintain a high level of resilience and emotional agilityHighly developed verbal and written communication skillsWhat you'll get in returnA highly competitive remuneration and salary package of $100,000 Plus SuperWork in an environment where your opportunities for progression will not be held backMake a real difference to our community - achieve exceptional outcomesCareer GrowthWhat you need to do nowAt Hays, we value diversity and are passionate about placing people in a role where they can flourish and succeed.
