We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Policy Lead to spearhead our advocacy and policy development efforts across financial services. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the future of the industry.As a Policy Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving change by shaping policies and influencing decision-makers on key areas such as superannuation, tax, and financial advice. You will ensure that the voice of our members is heard and represented effectively. You will research and write submissions and position statements, research new opportunities, create policies, guidelines and resources for our members on a range of subjects and provide timely, accurate advice for our members.Key responsibilities include:Advocacy Leadership: research, draft policy positions, and advocate on financial advisory services policy priorities. Engage with external stakeholders, manage policy-related activities, and balance members' interests with public interest.Thought Leadership: research and draft papers on policy matters relevant to CAANZ members in financial advice. Manage projects to develop Thought Leadership Publications and events.Member Support: Provide ongoing support to members practising in financial services. Communicate regularly and effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.Networks & Relationships: Build and maintain key relationships with policymakers and stakeholders and drive meaningful change.ABOUT YOUYou will have demonstrated experience in policy advocacy, ideally in financial services and legal compliance.
